IT House is recruiting a Database Administrator for a leading public entity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Database Management Systems (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
- Installation, configuration, tuning, and performance optimization.
- Backup management, recovery, and business continuity.
- Monitoring and optimization of queries.
- Implementation of security mechanisms and access control.
- Support for critical environments, high availability, and replication.
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;
- Proven experience in database administration
- Languages: Python (required), advanced SQL.
- Big Data: Spark, Databricks, Hadoop (a plus).
- Pipelines: Airflow, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue (or similar).
- APIs: REST, GraphQL, integration with external services.
- Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle; NoSQL (MongoDB, Elastic).
- Cloud: Azure or AWS (preferred).
- Version Control: Git, GitFlow.
