IT House is recruiting an AI Engineer for a client in the logistics sector, based in Lisbon.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build, and deploy AI applications, agents, and intelligent workflow components for business teams;
- Build AI assistants and agents using modern GenAI engineering patterns and production-ready workflows;
- Design and implement integrations with Azure AI services, Azure AI Foundry, APIs, enterprise systems, and data platforms;
- Develop retrieval, tool-use, orchestration, evaluation, monitoring, and guardrail components for production AI solutions;
- Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to integrate models, prompts, workflows, and data pipelines into reliable end-to-end solutions;
- Support the implementation of reusable agent-based workflows across teams;
- Improve developer experience, engineering standards, and production readiness for AI software delivery.
PROFILE
- Strong software engineering skills in Python and SQL;
- Hands-on experience building GenAI applications, assistants, agents, or AI-enabled workflow automation;
- Hands-on experience with Azure AI services, Azure AI Foundry, or comparable AI platforms;
- Deep understanding of RAG, prompt and context engineering, tool invocation, evaluation, and orchestration;
- Experience with APIs, cloud-native services, data pipelines, and enterprise integration patterns;
- Comfortable using GenAI software engineering tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar);
- A software-oriented mindset with the ability to turn ambiguous business problems into working technical solutions;
- Fluent English (required).
