ITHouse is looking for a Cloud FinOps Specialist to lead optimization initiatives and promote best practices for cost management in multi-cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Implement and promote Cloud FinOps best practices in Azure, AWS, and GCP environments
- Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage by identifying waste, opportunities for improvement, and cost anomalies
- Develop automations for collecting, analyzing, and processing cloud usage and cost data
- Support Architecture, Engineering, and Operations teams in adopting efficient and sustainable architectures
- Identify and execute optimization initiatives, including rightsizing, reservations, savings plans, and the cleanup of unused resources
- Contribute to the evolution of the organization’s FinOps strategy
- Produce technical analyses and recommendations for the continuous improvement of cloud platforms
- Serve as a technical expert on efficiency, governance, and optimization of multi-cloud environments
- Create, maintain, and review detailed technical documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience with the following cloud providers: Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience optimizing solutions deployed in the public cloud
- Proven knowledge of cloud cost management tools (ideally CloudHealth)
- FinOps Foundation Certification (FinOps Certified Practitioner)
- English (required)
A Plus
- Knowledge of Agile methodology, JIRA, and Confluence
- Portuguese and Spanish (written and spoken)
