A rapidly growing company with an innovative approach to the market is looking to strengthen its team by hiring a Controller & Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist. This role will play a strategic part in the organization’s financial management, ensuring planning, control, and support for decision-making, and contributing to the business’s sustainable growth.
CANDIDATE
The primary responsibilities of the candidate to be hired will include:
- Lead the entire financial planning cycle, including the preparation of the annual budget, periodic forecasts, and financial control;
- Monitoring financial performance through variance analysis, cost control, margin analysis, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs);
- Developing and providing financial and operational reports, ensuring reliable and relevant information to support management;
- Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to support strategic decisions, growth initiatives, investments, and pricing strategies;
- Manage relationships with external accounting partners, ensuring the quality of financial information and compliance with control and reporting requirements;
- Monitor and manage incentive programs and public funding initiatives, including Portugal 2030 and SIFIDE;
- Manage banking relationships, payment platforms, liquidity, and treasury activities;
- Support treasury management and the development of strategies for optimizing and investing cash surpluses.
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field;
- 6 to 10 years of professional experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or management control;
- Solid knowledge of financial modeling, financial analysis, and business partnering;
- Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and strategic thinking;
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly and support decision-making;
- Experience in the service, tourism, marketplace, or technology sectors is a plus.
