IT House is looking for a DevOps Engineer for a direct placement with an end client in the Telecommunications & Communications Engineering sector, located in Aveiro.
Main Responsibilities
- Operate and scale self-hosted Kubernetes environments, with a focus on high availability and performance tuning;
- Define and enforce access control policies (RBAC) and manage network traffic through modern Gateway API routing;
- Build and maintain custom Kubernetes Operators in Go to automate infrastructure processes;
- Automate server provisioning and configuration (physical and virtual) using Ansible;
- Ensure the stability and reliability of critical systems, databases, and internal development tools;
- Promote GitOps practices and declarative infrastructure management across the team.
Requirements
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;
- At least 2 years of experience in similar roles;
- Knowledge of Kubernetes architecture (networking, security, routing);
- Experience with Ansible for Linux configuration management;
- Familiarity with GitOps and declarative infrastructure principles.
