CANDIDATE
The successful candidate’s main responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the school’s educational leadership, in coordination with the administration, by fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and educational excellence;
- Representing the school before the Ministry of Education and other official entities on educational matters;
- Ensuring the implementation of the Educational Project and compliance with the curriculum and current educational legislation;
- Oversee the development of study programs and promote curricular coordination across grade levels and departments;
- Monitor academic performance and implement strategies to improve student learning and pedagogical quality;
- Monitor teacher performance, coordinate classroom observation processes, and participate in teacher performance evaluations;
- Identify training needs and promote professional development initiatives and pedagogical innovation;
- Convene and chair the Pedagogical Council and the Faculty Council, ensuring compliance with their respective resolutions;
- Coordinate learning assessment processes, ensuring compliance with legally established criteria and procedures;
- Monitor disciplinary matters and promote a safe, positive educational environment focused on the holistic education of students;
- Participate in the school’s strategic planning, particularly in the development of the Educational Project and the Annual Activity Plan;
- Develop institutional relationships with government agencies, educational organizations, institutions of higher education, and other strategic partners.
PROFILE
- Specialized training in School Administration, Pedagogical Supervision, or similar fields;
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
- Professional certification to teach in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education;
- Good knowledge of education law.
