We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the Information Systems department of a leading group in the naval and offshore industry, with responsibility for defining the technology strategy and ensuring alignment between IT and the business, within the context of a strong commitment to digital transformation and process modernization.
Responsibilities
- Defining and overseeing the Information Systems strategy;
- Managing and coordinating the IT function;
- Managing technology vendors and contracts;
- Assessing the existing technology architecture;
- Cybersecurity and technology risk management;
- Support for digital transformation and process optimization;
- Defining a technology roadmap and investment plan.
Desired Profile
- Proven experience in leadership roles in IT or Information Systems;
- Strong knowledge and experience in ERP environments, particularly SAP;
- Strategic vision combined with operational execution skills;
- Strong team management and supplier relationship management skills.
Initial Phase Deliverables
- In the initial phase, the candidate is expected to conduct an assessment of the current situation and present recommendations, including:
- An assessment of existing systems and services;
- Identification of key risks and opportunities for improvement;
- An action plan for the first 90 days;
- Short- and medium-term strategic recommendations.
