IT House is looking for a Frontend Software Engineer (React) for a direct placement with an end client in the IT / Telecommunications & Communications Engineering sector, located in Aveiro.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop reusable and high-performance React components using external UI libraries as a foundation;
- Actively contribute to front-end architecture decisions and technology choices;
- Implement new features as the product evolves;
- Help maintain code quality through thoughtful design patterns, automated testing, code reviews, and incremental refactoring;
- Improve and scale front-end performance, including interfaces that handle real-time, data-intensive streams.
Requirements
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;
- 3 years of professional experience with React and TypeScript;
- A solid foundation in software engineering, algorithms, and design practices, including incremental refactoring;
- Experience with Redux or similar state management tools;
- Familiarity with REST APIs and OpenAPI;
- Good knowledge of CSS/SCSS modules;
- Strong commitment to writing readable, structured, and maintainable code;
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Preferred (not required): knowledge of RTK Query and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
