COMPANY
An internationally active company responsible for the development and execution of large-scale construction and infrastructure projects in Angola, with a strong presence in projects in the areas of housing, infrastructure, and social facilities.
CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing and coordinating pre-contract studies, cost estimates, and contracting planning;
- Managing bidding processes, proposal analysis, negotiations, and contract execution;
- Coordinating procurement and the management of suppliers and subcontractors, in alignment with the technical, legal, and financial departments;
- Overseeing contract management, change control, complaints, and contract compliance;
- Structuring, implementing, and leading the PMO department, ensuring planning and control of deadlines, costs, resources, and risks;
- Monitor project performance, ensuring structured, reliable, and indicator-driven reporting;
- Coordinate teams from Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and sector-specific teams;
- Lead and promote best practices in HSE and compliance;
- Communicate and liaise with internal stakeholders, government agencies, and external partners.
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering;
- At least 10 years of experience in large-scale project management and construction;
- In-depth knowledge of contracting, procurement, planning, budget control, and risk management;
- Knowledge of international standards, public procurement procedures, and complex regulatory environments;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar software;
- Fluency in English;
- Knowledge of other languages (optional).
