A company responsible for major construction projects in Angola, particularly in the areas of housing, infrastructure, and social facilities.
CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and managing new projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, reporting, HSE, and quality control;
- Monitoring and analyzing the activities of contractors and the supervision team;
- Monitoring progress and escalating risks and deviations in a timely manner to find solutions to problems;
- Coordinating with all relevant parties and representatives to minimize any disruptions and ensure the completion of projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards;
- Support the bidding, contracting, PMO, and procurement processes.
- Manage the flow of resources: human, materials, equipment, and tools.
- Lead and supervise project teams.
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering;
- At least 10 years of experience in similar roles;
- Knowledge of contract management and financial management, including project budget control, procurement, change order management, billing, and financial reconciliation;
- Experience with building or infrastructure contracts;
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, and MS Project;
- Fluency in English and Portuguese.
