CANDIDATE

The candidate’s main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, supervise, and contribute to the design and development of piping systems in multidisciplinary EPC/EPCM projects (industrial energy, oil & Gas, renewable hydrogen, biogas, and biomethane), assuming technical responsibility from feasibility studies and FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) through to detailed design, construction support, and commissioning.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of piping design for severe and non-severe service conditions, in accordance with DVGW, ASME B31.1/B31.3, EN 13480, ISO 15649, and PED 2014/68/EU, ensuring engineering integrity and regulatory compliance throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including feasibility study reports, technical specifications, piping classes, plant layouts, 3D models, P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), line lists, isometric drawings, bills of materials, bidding documents, and cost estimates.
  • Develop and coordinate work plans for the piping discipline, track work progress, report to the Project Manager, and monitor material quantities, long-lead items (LLI), and deliverables.
  • Lead piping route studies, equipment layout definition, and 3D model development, ensuring that the principles of constructability, operability, and maintainability are considered from the early stages of the project.
  • Perform and review piping stress analyses (CAESAR II), flexibility studies, hydraulic calculations, support sizing, and nozzle load assessments, identifying design risks and proposing mitigation measures.
  • Represent the piping discipline in multidisciplinary coordination meetings, design reviews, 3D model reviews, and client meetings.
