IT House is looking for a Java Back-End Developer for a direct placement with an end client in the Transportation & Logistics sector, located in Porto.
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of a next-generation transportation management platform;
- Apply modern methods, tools, and technologies to deliver impactful projects;
- Develop new and modernized components using container technology, appropriate databases, and cloud services;
- Serve as a technical resource within the team, contributing innovative ideas across the organization.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience as a developer;
- Extensive experience developing Java-based backend applications;
- Good knowledge of the Spring Framework, particularly Spring Boot;
- Experience developing RESTful web services and APIs;
- Solid knowledge of databases (SQL, Hibernate, and JPA);
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus;
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is desirable;
- Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to work;
- Good English skills and the ability to collaborate in an agile environment.
