COMPANY
A national business group operating in the
real estate, hospitality, and investment sectors is looking to expand its
Finance team.
CANDIDATE
The successful candidate’s main
responsibilities will include:
- Performing accounting entries
and account reconciliations;
- Ensuring compliance with
tax obligations, specifically VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding taxes;
- Assisting in the preparation of
financial statements and management reports;
- Collaborate on the
monthly and annual closing processes;
- Managing and maintaining
accounting documentation and its corresponding files;
- Assist with internal and
external audits;
- Ensure compliance with
SNC standards and applicable legislation;
- Participate in the
continuous improvement of accounting processes.
PROFILE
- Academic background in
Accounting, Management, Economics, or a related field;
- At least 2 years of
experience in similar roles;
- Experience in the
hotel or tourism industry (preferred);
- Solid knowledge of the Portuguese General Accounting Plan (SNC)
and Portuguese tax law;
- Good knowledge of Excel and
experience with accounting software; knowledge of
TOC Online is a plus;
- Knowledge of
general and cost accounting.
