We are recruiting 1 SENIOR ACCOUNT for an agro industrial company specialized in logistics situated in AVIS region ( Portalegre District).
Main responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Plant Director and the Group Finance Director, you will act as accountant providing timely, accurate and relevant accounting reports and activities.
- Participate in transition and cost accounting;
- Responsible for communications of intercompany transactions to head office and other financial information for consolidation purposes;
- Managing the approval flow of purchase invoices;
- Management of the year-end closing and in the preparation of various statements.
- Responsible for VAT closure;
- Preparation of various financial reports and administrative tasks;
- Communication with the auditor;
- Implementing cost control in the company.
Requirements to be sucessful:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics;
- IFRS knowledge;
- Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting activities – manufacturing environment;
- Good computer skills (SAP);
- Proficiency in Excel;
- Spoken and written command of Portuguese and English – mandatory.
